Letting Go

Well ,  my baby left for the WHOLE SUMMER!  Noah is on his way to summer camp for 8 weeks.

As you can see he is very sad and worried about leaving.

And he is especially excited about his mom’s need to get a few pictures.   He refused to let me get on the bus to take a picture of him with his friends.  I still can’t figure out why? 🙂

Letting go really sucks.

Letting go is part of the circle of life. He is ready to move on and you think that he is leaving you behind, but he isn’t. you will always be his mom and he will need you forever. I know what it is like to have your oldest go away for the summer. Richard went to camp when he was 7 for 5 weeks and he didn’t know one person at camp. he had so much fun that he went until he was 22. But he always knew he had a home to come back to and he still knows that we are still here for him. You will be busy with the other 3. keep us posted about Noah and send us his address. joan

Go figure 🙂 did you at least give him a sloppy kiss and hug in front of all his friends then remind him to wear clean underwear? Humiliation is in the job discription.
